August 2006, Tutored by Wine Educator - Neil Courtier.

Flagstone 'Noon Gun' White Blend 2005 - Viewed as offering brilliant value
for money.

Flagstone 'Free Run' Sauvignon Blanc 2005 - Loire-like, with grapefruit
characteristics & racy acidity.

Jack & Knox 'Frostline' Riesling 2005 - A real point of difference here!

Jack & Knox - 'Green on Green' Semillon 2004 - For the Semillon lovers /
appreciation society, this was a gem of a wine. Waxy, yet very well balanced
with the acidity & oak perfectly knitted together.

Flagstone 'Longitude' Red Blend 2005 - Like Noon Gun, great value with bags
of character.

Flagstone 'Dragon Tree' 2004 - Gutsy, yet polished. A very good Cape Blend.

Flagstone 'Writer's Block' Pinotage - More than one taster, said that this
was the best Pinotage that they had come across.

Flagstone 'The Music Room' 2003 - Sophisticated red blend, with Bordeaux
style, but South African identity.

Flagstone 'Mary Le Bow' 2004 - A real contrast to the previous wine. More
'European'. A great food wine.

Flagstone Dark Horse Shiraz 2004 - A Chocolate depth, with ripe tannins &
excellent structure.

Jack & Knox 'The Outsider' Shiraz 2004 - Very impressive and Rhone-like.
Great structure, totally integrated and with an impressive spicy finish.
