Set in the heart of the Overberg region, Greyton transforms into a vibrant celebration of the finest wines.

Attendees can indulge in exquisite offerings from over 40 producers, encompassing emerging boutique brands to renowned wine estates.

Time: Friday from 14h00 to 19h00; Saturday from 12h00 to 18h00

We're proud to announce that our Free Run Sauvignon Blanc 2022 is among the top 20 finalists in the 2023 #FirstNationalBank @sauvignonblancsa Top 10 competition.

At Flagstone Wines, we believe in crafting wines that aren't just about the present moment but also the potential journey they undertake with time. Our commitment to excellence is mirrored in the enduring quality of our Sauvignon Blanc and trusting your taste.

Out of 169 wines from 106 producers, being in the top 20 is a reflection of our dedication to the craft. This competition, established in 2007, stands out as the unique South African event solely dedicated to celebrating Sauvignon Blanc.

This year’s competition were judged by a panel of leading wine experts with Cape Wine Master Dr Winifred Bowman as convenor.

We offer two tastings: the Foundation Range lets you select any 5 wines for R80 per person, while our Premium Range at R100 per person comprises a set of 5 exquisite wines (2 whites, 3 reds).

Our location is easily accessible at Paardevlei, WR Quinan Boulevard, Somerset West. Simply enter Paardevlei opposite the Strand Golf Estate entrance and follow directions after checking in with security.

We operate Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm.

We are pleased to announce that our Paradigm Chenin Blanc Reserve 2020 has earned a spot among the Top 10 wines in the Annual @standardbanksa Chenin Challenge 2023. This accolade is awarded by the @cheninblancsa, which has been a pioneer in championing this unique grape variety in South Africa.

The prize money awarded to Flagstone Wines will be allocated to our Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment programme (B-BBEE). We plan to offer bursaries to two final-year students at #ElsenburgAgricultureCollege, aiding them in completing their studies and providing an opportunity to participate in a harvest with our winemaking team next year.

Our commitment remains steadfast to both winemaking excellence and contributing positively to our community.

Nestled in a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Somerset West, and only a few hundred metres from the ocean, our tasting room offers the ideal backdrop for a serene wine tasting experience.

Enjoy any of the following wine tasting options:

Foundation Range: Sample any 5 wines of your choice for just R80 per person.

Premium Range: Our premium range tasting at R100 per person includes a set of 5 wines—2 whites and 3 reds.

We are pleased to announce that two wines from Flagstone have been highly rated in the Tim Atkin 2023 South Africa Master of Wine Report.

The Flagstone Free Run Sauvignon Blanc 2022, representing the Cape Coast region, scored 91 points.

The Flagstone Writer's Block Pinotage 2021, from the Swartland region, received 90 points.

This recognition is especially noteworthy given that Tim Atkin sampled 2,205 wines from 419 wineries for his eleventh annual report, with only 201 wines this year receiving 95 points or more. We appreciate the acknowledgement of our commitment to quality and innovation in winemaking.
