Flagstone Paradise Lost MCC
South Africa’s floral kingdom is known as one of the richest areas in the world
for plant biodiversity. More than 9000 known species of flowering fynbos plants
exist, of which a large number are very rare and in danger of becoming extinct.
In 2004, the Cape Floral Region was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This wine is a tribute to the beautiful Cape fynbos and also to the wonderful old
vine Chenin Blanc Vineyards of the Coastal wine region. These vineyards are
also decreasing every year and this wine was specifically crafted from vines
planted in 1977.
Tasting Notes
Palate: Fresh and subtle upon entry and shows purity and minerality with a biscuit finish.
